Dog Days of Winter: DKB Keeps You Covered No Matter the Forecast

Just like August are the dog days of Summer, February is the dog days of winter. It can be a grind as mother nature lets you know she is still in charge by gifting us with our morning sprinkle of snow, sleet and rain. Fear not, with a 24x7x365 dispatch group, a fleet of over 100 units on the road, and redundant supply options, nothing covers the Northeast better than DKB. We always appreciate the help in making sure fills and walkways are clear of snow & ice. As tariff talk on energy take a back seat to steel and other metals, the focus has now shifted towards Russia & Ukraine, again. In what appears to be a concerted effort by the U.S. to end the fighting, that has largely damaged the Russian image, it will be interesting how Putin will save face, if at all. The hope of yet another conflict subsiding looks to bring some selling back into the markets. That, along with the FED “not in any rush to lower rates” should make futures retreat over the rest of the winter. (higher rates increase borrowing costs which slows economic activity thus weakens oil growth). Demand will be the key indicator on direction, although the most recent weekly numbers showed massive drops in distillate usage, we are roughly 5% higher on both gas and diesel consumption over the same time last year, could that keep prices high? Again, it’s never too early to think spring, we are always willing to talk about your upcoming fuel needs and help navigate a evolving landscape.
