July 2011 - Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
Our product of the month for July is Diesel Exhaust Fluid. DEF is a non-toxic, clear, urea solution used with SCR systems in new diesel powered vehicles. (SCR works by injecting diesel exhaust fluid into the exhaust stream as required. DEF works with the heat of the exhaust and a catalyst to convert NOx into nitrogen and water vapor - two harmless and natural components of the air we breathe.)
